It is easily accessible by car, bus and train with the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) stopping right in the heart of town. Incorporated in 1910, the village of Cedarhurst today presents a unique and charming combination of mom & pop stores, specialty boutiques, and national and regional chain stores. A variety of restaurants and cafes -- all within walking distance of each other complement this quaint town. Many stores are open 7 days a week from 10:00 am - 6:00pm, with Wednesday late hours until 9:00pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, free meter parking in convenient municipal lots is offered year-round.
